2018 Speaker Series The Friends is delighted to welcome award winning author Ann Hagedorn to Columbus on February 22 from 7-8pm (doors open at 6:30) at the Ohio History Center, to discuss two of her historical books: Beyond the River and Savage Peace. Travel The Friends took a group of 39 travelers on August 1-4 and returned for a third year to Lakeside, Ohio on Lake Erie at Marblehead. The trip included fine food, exciting field trips to little known places in northwest Ohio and a series of lectures in the Chautauqua tradition.
Friends host most successful fundraiser yet with tour of the Jay & Jeanie Schottenstein Garden With many guests attired in garden whites, our July 14, 2016 gala fundraiser provided an opportunity to enjoy the spectacular Schottenstein Garden along with cocktails, hor d'oeuvres and desserts.
